Google publishes A2A in an open GitHub repository

Agent-to-agent tasking has a repo. Settlement is still a different layer.

The google/A2A repository is the public implementation and specification surface for Agent2Agent. It does not replace MCP tool calling and it does not replace x402 or AP2 payments.

Why it matters

Hiring another agent (A2A) and paying an HTTP resource (x402/MPP/AP2/ACP) are different jobs.
